High performance cover lid works with factory 993 airbox to increase cold air flow and significantly improve power as verified on the DYNO. 993 enthusiasts have been cutting the lids off their air box's for years because it's proven to net more power.  This air box cover takes the headache and hacking out of getting more dyno proven HP out of your flat 6. BACKGROUND- Porsche Motorsports Germany CUT OFF 964 airbox covers on 964 CUP cars and Porsche stated +8HP. Fabspeed adopted this for all aircooled cars and its works fantastic NO BS!

CAD Designed and CNC machined in house from billet T6061 Aluminum and anodized light GOLD. The gold color mimics and matches the yellow Zinc plated OEM hardware that Porsche used in all their air-cooled cars from this era.

SOUND:

OEM air boxes are designed to act as mufflers to keep the induction note from reaching the cabin, however we firmly believe that's and important part of the symphony of sounds that is an air-cooled flat 6. This air box cover allows more of that wonderful induction growl to reach the driver's ears. 

POWER:

Allowing higher flow and cooler air makes for an 8whp gain over the factory system.
