BBI Autosport was founded in the Summer of 2005 with the mission of returning artistry and craft to the exotic tuning market. Built by pure passion, and on a motorsport foundation, BBI has quickly become a household name in the Porsche Industry. 30+ years of combined professional racing history has fueled the engineering and development of performance parts and services. Timeline
BBI Autosport collaborated with the Brumos Racing team on the BBI-spec GT2 RS Clubsport race car driven by David Donohue. David would go on to not only take back-to-back victories in TA1, breaking the TA1 record to become the fastest Porsche ever to race up Pikes Peak (9:18:053). Assisted Lia Block & the Hoonipigasus for a tribute run in honor of her father and rally driver Ken Block.
BBI built the Hoonipigasus alongside Ken Block and Mobil 1 to race the 100th anniversary of the Pikes Peak Int. Hill Climb and collaborated with the legendary Brumos Racing team to create a BBI-spec GT2 RS Clubsport race car with David Donahue. David would go on to place 1st in his class (TA1).
Pikes Peak 2021: BBI podiums across three classes with two 1st place wins and a 3rd place. A first in Pikes Peak history. One team, three drivers, three cars.
2020 was tough on all including the BBI Pikes Peak effort with David Donohue in the GT2 RS CS. A puncture forced an early end to an otherwise incredible race run.
Sets TA1 Record at Pikes Peak with BBI OPTIMA 991 TurboCup GT3 and places 2nd Overall at 9:23.721.
Runs the fastest 991 and 911 with a stock engine ever with the BBI GT2 RS VMax at 226.95mph (Sun Valley Tour de Force).
Fastest German car in the 6 speed 997 GT2 at ShiftS3ctor 1/2mile event at 206mph.
BBI acquires its 1st CNC mill to facilitate R&D, custom parts and step up in-house capabilities.
BBI focuses on product lines and dealer networks. Partners with industry leaders to produce products like the 3D printed intercooler endtanks.
1st place finish in Time Attack 1 at Pikes Peak Int. Hill Climb with the BBI-prepped "Turbo Cup" (Porsche 911 Cup Car with Turbo Engine). BBI moves to a larger facility to better support customers and race development.

Projekt King Kong (a 1500hp Porsche 911 Turbo) is unleashed - a catalyst for future projects at BBI, running 205mph in the 1/2 mile.
The BBI-built 996 Turbo hits 221 mph in the Texas Mile. Thanks to its in-house built 3.8L engine it produces 1000hp at the wheels and would go on to be the start of big turbo and high horsepower projects at BBI.
BBI grows significantly with performance projects and service work and moves to a larger facility.
BBI becomes a full-time venture after departure from Porsche Motorsport and begins producing exhaust systems and developing product lines.
Took 1st place overall at 25 Hours of Thunderhill with a 23 lap lead. Campaigned a BBI-prepped 2004 Porsche GT3 Cup Car.
The start of BBI begins in Huntington Beach as a side project and creative outlet. Working out of a small roll-up door shop, labour was traded for seat time in race cars. With a 100% focus on Porsche, started an engine program to support privateer racing teams.
